Committee Chairs Corner
Summer is the best time for family outings and fun.
Hope you have made time for plenty of both.
With the memories of summer camp still vivid in our minds, we are starting to gear up for the upcoming scouting year. The calendar of events has been planned and it looks to be an exciting year with some new events and destinations.
The District sponsored Popcorn Sale began in August this year. More information and order forms can be obtained from Mrs. Berube. District is providing additional time for early popcorn sales. This fundraiser provides the scouts with great earning potential for their scout accounts to help them pay for scouting events, dues, summer camp and scouting and camping gear. BUT this also allows the Troop to earn money from your sales. Your efforts help the Troop and yourself. I would like to thank Deeanne Berube for volunteering to manage the Popcorn Sale this year. Many thanks.
I encourage each and every adult to become involved in the Scouting program to support your son and the other scouts. As much as we try to get to know each of you and your areas of specialties, we ask you to come forward if you can provide some assistance with the operation of the troop, a Merit Badge, or have resources that the scouts could benefit from. What you will get back in return will be amazing.
Enjoy the start of Fall and see you at the Troop Meetings. Remember to bring a friend to any meeting, who might be interested in joining Scouts.

Round Table Meetings
Arrowhead District Roundtable meetings take place at the Latter Day Saints Church in Nashua (nest to Greeley Park) on the second Wednesday of each month. All leaders are encouraged to attend these monthly training meetings. You will be kept up to date on the future events and other opportunities within the scouting program in Daniel Webster Council. If you would like additional information, please contact the Committee Chair or Scoutmaster.
Paperwork
Just a quick reminder, that all of your paperwork is due to Mrs. Kofman, ASAP. The registration and dues can be turned in to the Patrol Scribe who will then pass it over to the Troop Treasurer, Mrs. Brodell. You must be current with all of your dues payments in order to attend any of the scouting events.
